What's Included

Scope and inclusions, in plain language.

We don't write surprise line items into the contract. Here's what the scope covers — written up front so the final invoice matches the estimate.

  • Removal and disposal of existing countertops
  • Cabinet box inspection and minor leveling
  • Digital templating with laser measurement
  • Slab selection at the fabricator's yard
  • Custom edge profiles (eased, mitred, waterfall, ogee, bullnose)
  • Undermount, drop-in, or apron-front sink cutouts
  • Faucet, soap dispenser, and air-switch hole drilling
  • Backsplash and side-splash where specified
  • On-site install with seam matching and caulk-out
  • Plumbing reconnection (sink, faucet, dishwasher)

How We Work

A predictable, five-step process from kitchen-table to keys-back.

Most homeowners are nervous about remodels because the process is opaque. Ours isn't.

  1. 01

    Free in-home consultation

We meet at your home, walk the space, listen to what you want, and give you an honest read on scope and approach — not a pitch.

  2. 02

    Design and selections

If we're a fit, our designer produces a complete scope and a fixed-price contract. Cabinets, counters, tile, fixtures, hardware, and paint are locked before any demo.

  3. 03

    Permits and prep

We pull every permit through the relevant building department, set up dust containment, and protect floors and adjacent rooms.

  4. 04

    Build

One project manager, one fixed price, one source of communication. Permits pulled, dust controlled, your home protected. We work clean.

  5. 05

    Walkthrough and warranty

We hand you a punch-list-clean project, registered manufacturer warranties, and a workmanship warranty on everything we built.

Common Questions

Answers to what homeowners actually ask.

Quartz is the more popular choice today and for Florida specifically: it's non-porous (no sealing required), highly resistant to staining, and handles humidity better than natural stone. Granite is still excellent — heat-resistant, naturally durable, and unique slab patterns — but requires periodic resealing in Florida humidity. Both can run waterfall edges, mitred returns, and book-matched seams. We'll show samples of both at your selections meeting.
